Constructiv, the administrative engine of the construction sector
The challenge: from blind spots to one unified view
Whether it’s training certificates, information about hospitalization or premiums, everything is handled through the “MyConstructiv portal”. With the launch of the MyConstructiv app, continuous availability has become even more important.
Not because a short period of downtime would immediately bring operations to a halt, but because the strength of the platform lies in being accessible whenever users need it. They need to be able to quickly access information and take care of their administrative needs at any time of day.
As the administrative backbone of the Belgian construction sector, Constructiv plays an important role for employers and employees alike. Through the MyConstructiv digital portal, users can access essential information and manage their administrative tasks at any time.
But how do you maintain a clear overview when applications become increasingly interconnected? Together with Evolane and Dynatrace, Constructiv set out to achieve greater visibility, control and efficiency.
Constructiv’s IT team was already using monitoring tools, but each application was essentially its own island. “Everyone had visibility into their own piece of the puzzle, which made it challenging to maintain an overall view,” Filip explains.
If something went wrong in application A, the actual cause often turned out to be hidden deep within application C after a lengthy investigation. External parties were also quick to point fingers at one another: “The problem isn’t on our side.”
One demo, a world of difference
When an Evolane colleague came by for a live Dynatrace demo, it opened up a whole new world. No more isolated silos, but one platform that connects all applications. Geert and Filip were immediately convinced. “The demo showed us just how complex our environment really was, while at the same time giving us the complete visibility we had been missing.”

Over the years, our environment has become increasingly integrated, with applications becoming more and more interconnected, explains Geert Ramaekers, ICT Director at Constructiv.
“This created an even greater need to quickly identify potential issues and opportunities for optimization at a glance. Both our own employees and our development partners can use Dynatrace to monitor how our IT applications are being used and where potential outages may occur. This helps us build greater trust with our business stakeholders.”
The approach: not a supplier, but a true partner
The implementation went smoothly and pragmatically, without any major hurdles. But software is, of course, only one part of the story. For Filip, what really made the difference in choosing Evolane was the human aspect.
“The connection with Denis and Kristof was there from the start. You can ask them anything. To me, that relationship is at least as important as the technical side,” Filip explains. “I’m not looking for suppliers who simply push products at the lowest price; I’m looking for partners. Good service is becoming increasingly difficult to find, but at Evolane it’s not just about the numbers. It’s about delivering quality and building a long-term partnership.”
That long-term vision is clearly reflected in the day-to-day collaboration at Constructiv. About once every two weeks, Evolane expert Dylan joins the team at their office. He has become an essential link between technology and the business.
Filip explains: “Dylan looks far beyond our list of errors. He helps us truly understand the data. He also adapts effortlessly to his audience: he can explain an issue to developers at a highly technical level, while translating it just as easily into clear, understandable language for the rest of the organization.”

The impact: greater peace of mind and 50% faster response times
The collaboration with Evolane marked a clear shift. With the Guardian Pack, the focus moved from reactively putting out fires to proactive optimization.
Walk into Constructiv’s IT office today and Dynatrace is impossible to miss. The platform is continuously displayed on large screens throughout the office, providing clarity, control and peace of mind. Dynatrace is also always open for project teams and developers, giving them valuable insights into where processes and code can be optimized.
And the results? They speak for themselves. Although Constructiv fortunately experiences very little actual downtime, the time needed to detect and resolve an issue (MTTR) has decreased significantly. Filip estimates that the team now spends 50% less time investigating issues.

The future: scaling up in 2026
Standing still is not an option. Constructiv already has an ambitious roadmap for 2026. Internal Dynatrace training sessions are being organized for new colleagues, existing and new applications are being added to the platform, and the move to the Dynatrace SaaS environment is taking shape to enable even greater flexibility.
In addition, Constructiv is exploring Evolane’s Akamai security solutions to take its cybersecurity to the next level.
