The Cloud Security Engineer is responsible for implementing, managing, and optimizing Netskope and Akamai Security solutions for our clients. This role requires a thorough knowledge of cloud security and the capacity to address complex security challenges while maintaining effective collaboration with client teams and internal stakeholders.
What do you do as a Cloud Security Engineer at Evolane?
- Implementation and Management: Install, configure, and maintain Netskope and Akamai security products. Ensure smooth and secure operations for our clients.
- Security Analysis and Advice: Analyze client needs and advise on the best security practices and solutions.
- Incident Management: Quickly respond to and resolve security incidents. Continuously monitor security threats and vulnerabilities.
- Client Support and Training: Collaborate with clients to enhance their understanding of security solutions and provide assistance with technical issues.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work with various teams (such as IT, development, and operations) and effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What do we expect from you?
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology, networking, cybersecurity. No degree but the same level of experience in the field (min. of 5 years)? We are equally impressed!
- Networking knowledge: Extensive knowledge of network architectures, protocols, and services. Experience in designing, implementing, and managing complex network infrastructures. Understanding of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, VPN, and network security techniques is crucial.
- Experience with security tools: Experience with a wide range of security solutions and technologies. While experience with Netskope and Akamai is advantageous, experience with similar cloud security and network security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption techniques is also highly valued.
- Excellent communication skills and customer focus.
- You speak Dutch, a good knowledge of French is a plus.
