Dynatrace introduces AutomationEngine

During the Cloud Observability Conference “Perform 2023”, organized by our partner Dynatrace, the theme this year was “IT automation”. Dynatrace has announced a series of platform improvements that offer a lot of benefits in efficiency! Some of these improvements include: a data lakehouse, analytics platform and AutomationEngine with a no-code and low-code toolset.

New tool, new possibilities!

Thanks to these innovations, teams using it can now:

  • Automate processes and workflows
  • Combine data from different sources
  • Make exploratory analyses
  • Gain better insights into business performance

Automation for better results

In other words, by automating workflows, teams across the organization can eventually eliminate manual processes and improve results. All from a single interface! We zoom in on the automation tool “AutomationEngine” that Dynatrace has added to the range.

Build, implement, integrate and manage

Automation Engine is an application-specific automation platform that offers a suite of features that enable teams to quickly build, deploy and manage complex workflows. These include the drag-and-drop interface for creating visually stunning and powerful workflows and the connectors that allow teams to quickly connect their automation solutions to external services and applications.

AutomationEngine also supports third-party integrations, making it easier for teams to integrate their workflows with existing infrastructure and services. In addition, it enables teams to quickly deploy updates or new versions of their workflows, ensuring teams always have the most current version of their automation tools.

“By automating workflows, teams can improve business outcomes from a single interface!”

Safety

The tool is designed securely with access controls to ensure that only authorized users can change or access workflows. Automated anomaly detection and alerts can alert teams to potential issues.

Detailed Insights

Detailed insights into workflow performance give teams insight into the progress and performance of their automation solutions. This allows teams to quickly identify and resolve any issues.

An intuitive tool

Finally, the developers have paid a lot of attention to the user-friendliness and adaptability of the tool. For example, teams can personalize their automation solution based on their organization’s unique needs and have the option to configure the platform to their exact specifications.

Supportive Community

Do you have a question? Users are never alone. Thanks to the community that surrounds the tool, with various support options for users (such as online tutorials and an extensive knowledge base), there is enormous support for the technology. The platform provides access to a community of experts to answer questions and offer help!

Centralization

The comprehensive suite of APIs, which allow developers to extend the platform’s functionality and create custom solutions, helps teams manage their automation processes in one central location. This allows users to set up workflow notifications and track the progress of their tasks from one place. This makes it easy for users to share information and collaborate.

Integrations with existing systems

Finally, AutomationEngine provides access to a wide range of third-party integrations and services, enabling users to connect their automation processes to other systems and platforms. This makes it easy to build powerful automation solutions that integrate easily with existing systems and processes.

For who?

With all these features, AutomationEngine is an invaluable tool for teams that need to manage their automation processes quickly and easily.

With its scalability, security, and detailed insights into workflow performance, AutomationEngine is an excellent choice for companies of all sizes looking to automate their business processes.
