The possibilities of data management

Working more customer-centric thanks to data streams

Data streams

Whatever we do, our actions leave digital traces. From our location to our social contacts and personal interests: the data streams between end users and public or private digital platforms are endless. The consumer shares his personal data in exchange for access to free services, such as government services (like taxonweb.be or mypension.be), social media and web shops. These services may not cost any money, but they do extract a lot of (commercially) interesting information using cookies.

The power of data

To measure is to know! More and more organizations are starting to realize this and are using data for their own specific purposes. Companies that don’t do this will be left behind. Deploying powerful internal and external data sources can help you plan more accurately, produce more efficiently, and make better strategic decisions.

Decisions are made, based on data streams that serve both the social interest and the international economy. Thanks to the availability of information, organizations and governments get a good picture of the consumer or the citizen. Just think of the medical personal data that are used to make government decisions in the current health crisis, or the use of our online behavior for personalized advertising.

Splunk The power is data - Data streams

“Based on relevant information that is already available, our customers arm themselves against the competition and new players in the market.”

New technology partner Splunk

Evolane wants to support its customers in efficient data management and therefore entered into a partnership this year with the American software company Splunk. Splunk’s techniques have already helped Dubai airport to optimize passenger flow and overall customer experience. For this, data was used from the airport planning, the WiFi network, the metal detectors, the baggage system, and sensors in the toilets and queues.

Splunk is Evolane’s technology partner to help customers apply predictive techniques to the data their end users generate. Using Splunk’s software, Evolane integrates data analytics into its customers’ business processes, just like in the example of Dubai airport, in order to provide the right employees with the right insights.

CTOs, CDOs and CIOs make targeted, strategic decisions based on these findings. In this way, companies can work in a more customer-oriented way, reduce risks and guarantee general offline and online safety. All this to the benefit of the company’s profitability. Based on relevant information that is already available, our customers arm themselves against the competition and new players in the market.
